Keeping you signed in
ra_session is a first-party, HTTP-only authentication cookie. It uses SameSite=Lax, is marked Secure in production and expires within 30 days. Logging out removes it and invalidates the server session.
Google sign-in
When you choose Google sign-in, doneask_google_state associates Google’s response with the sign-in you started. It is an HTTP-only security cookie, scoped to the Google sign-in route, with SameSite=Lax and a 10-minute lifetime. It is cleared when the sign-in finishes. Google may use its own cookies on Google’s website under its privacy policy.
PayPal
If you choose to subscribe, PayPal opens its own checkout and may use cookies there under its privacy statement. DoneAsk does not load PayPal advertising or tracking scripts on the homepage.

DoneAsk does not currently use advertising, analytics or other optional cookies, so no optional-cookie consent banner is shown. Blocking necessary cookies prevents sign-in. We will update this notice and provide any required controls before adding optional tracking.
